Dear HES Families & Community Members,
Welcome to the 2023 - 2024 school year! I am so proud to serve as the Principal of Hardwick Elementary, an amazing preschool through grade five elementary school. HES is a place where we have a built a warm, inclusive and safe environment where everyone is welcome. We all work together to develop academic excellence and social/emotional well-being for all of our students while looking through a lens of equity and inclusion. While at school we work hard to infuse the values of being safe, respectful, responsible, and kind all throughout the school year.
I would like to welcome all of our returning as well as new families to our school community. I look forward to sharing all of the wonderful things that Hardwick Elementary has to offer and also to forging strong home-school relationships. Hardwick Elementary School is a place where ALL children are welcome and valued.
Education and leadership have always been a passion of mine. I have been a school administrator for the past 17 years, and the past 7 have been here at Hardwick Elementary School. I began my teaching career teaching grades 4-7 in Puerto Rico, and when I moved back to Massachusetts, I began teaching kindergarten for 8 years before moving into administration. I also serve as the preschool coordinator and the safety coordinator for the Quabbin district. I look forward to coming to work each day and working to make Hardwick Elementary an amazing place to be!
